Dentures are (artificial teeth) synthetic replacements for missing natural teeth. They help by not only replacing the teeth but as well as gums and surrounding tissues. Dentures make it easier to eat, chew, and speak regularly. Improving nutrition by facilitating the ability to chew and swallow a variety of foods. Also, maintaining proper biomechanics of the head and neck. Without teeth it may cause facial collapsing, face may look saggy and droop and cheeks to look hollow. Teeth support each other, the neighboring teeth will start to shift around and become misaligned giving the face an asymmetrical or lopsided look. Dentures are removable, either complete or partial dentures.
